Learning Goals
• Demonstrate skills in reading, mathematics, and language arts through a variety of activities that require mastery of basic concepts and/or skills.
• Apply skills and concepts mastered in the classroom to everyday situations.
• Communicate the knowledge and/or skills learned to others through speaking, acting, writing, visual aids, utilizing the integration of multiple skills.
• Demonstrate organizational skills in time, study materials, and learning products.
• Demonstrate character development through structured activities, acceptance of personal responsibility, and participation in group projects.
• Demonstrate respect for themselves, others, and the world God has created by their words and actions.
• Participate in activities which recognize God’s manifest presence in our lives to build a foundation of faith in our Lord and Savior.
Grades
Grades are based upon work completed and tests administered during each nine week period. Interim report cards are issued a the midpoint of each nine weeks and final report cards are issued at the end of each period.
